10-3: Low Temperature and Moisture Susceptibility of RAP Mixtures with Warm Mix Technology	Mogawer, UMass Dartmouth A. Scholz	PI continued to analyze mixtures tested to date. The PI has not yet received high RAP mixtures prepared using foaming as the WMA technology.	5/31/17 (NCE)
13-1: Development of High Early-Strength Concrete for Accelerated Bridge Construction Closure Pour Connections	Brena, UMass Amherst C. Bradley	PI completed 90% of the project, but three tests remain.	1/14/17 (NCE)
13-2: HMA Mixtures Containing Recycled Asphalt Singles (RAS): Low Temperature Fatigue Performance of Plant-Produced Mixtures	Mogawer, UMass Dartmouth A. Scholz	Since contractors have not yet provided PCAS mixtures, PI obtained PCAS to work on two mixture design. PI continues test PCAS mixtures and MSW mixtures.	12/1/17 (NCE)
13-3: Improved Regionalization of Quality Assurance (QA) Functions	Dave, UNH C. Franco	DOTs working with VTrans to use existing SharePoint site to share QA data. PI and TAC will work to identify pilot projects to use tool. Meeting expected shortly.	4/2/17 (NCE)
14-2: Investigation of Northern Long-Eared Bat Roosting Sites on Bridges	Civjan, UMass Amherst D. Peabody	PI working scheduling two training events for the week of March 13 – 17 in NH (ME and VT will attend) and MA (CT and RI will attend). The training will be recorded. NCE in process between UVM and UMass.	4/17/17
14-4: Optimizing Future Work Zones in New England for Safety and Mobility	Xie, UMASS Lowell C. Bradley	PI requested additional data from VTTI, which may delay analysis.	7/5/17
15-1: Use of Forested Habitat Adjacent to Highways by Northern Long Ear Bats	Foster, UNH D. Peabody	Contract in process between UVM and UNH. Coordinator contract extension required to execute contract with full 24 month project plan.	TBD
15-2: Using the New SHRP2 Naturalistic Driving Study Safety Databases to Examine Safety Concerns for Older Drivers	Samuel, UMass Amherst D. Peabody	TAC would like colleagues from FHWA Safety Training and Analysis Center and Penn State to participate as non-voting advisers. Contract in process UMass Amherst and UVM. Coordinator contract extension required to execute contract with full 24 month project plan.	TBD
15-3: Moisture Susceptibility Testing for Hot Mix Asphalt Pavements in New England	Dave, UNH D. Peabody	Contract between UVM and UNH fully executed. PI has begun literature review. PI scheduled kick-off meeting for March 6, 2017.	7/31/18
15-4: Optimizing Quality Assurance (QA) Processes for Asphalt Pavement Construction		Awaiting final 13-3 report (expected Spring 2017) to inform this.
*Final Tech Transfer Items: Currently these include the final report to the TAC; a “Fact Sheet” summary – NETC template; a presentation to the TAC and other interested DOT participants that is recorded by NETC and made available.
